Nokia 2730 Classic

Nokia continues to release new models to meet everyone’s demands. This time, the 2730 Classic is the one we are going to talk about. It is interesting to see how Nokia tries to present simpler phones with basic features and form factor, but the 2730 Classic is more than just an ordinary phone for sure. It is definitely among the favorites when it comes to cheap handsets, for all the right reasons nonetheless.

The Nokia 2730 Classic comes equipped with 2.0″ 262K-color QVGA display. Nokia uses Symbian S40 5th Edition operating system for this particular phone – as with many of Nokia’s entry-level phones – so navigating through menus and accessing features can be done easily. A 5-way navigation pad is positioned just under the screen as usual.

The overall design of this phone itself is interesting. Although the phone is very affordable – some even sell this phone for less than £20 – the handset doesn’t look cheap at all. It has 3G support for optimum data connectivity, with additional Bluetooth with A2DP and microUSB adding connectivity options to the handset.

Ovi Store, Nokia Maps for S40 and Ovi Share – all Nokia’s flagship software – are also included. You wouldn’t have to worry about adding additional applications at all because there is also a hot-swappable microSD card slot with support for memory cards of up to 2GB. Storing multimedia files can also be done quite easily with 1GB microSD included in the sales package. If you are looking for value phone with reliable features, this can be the phone to consider.
